ChinanowhasmoresatellitesinorbitthananyothercountryexcepttheUnitedStates.OnMay5,ChinasuccessfullylaunchedaLongMarch5Brocket.ItisintheU.S.'sowninteresttodeterChinainitsouterspaceneighborhood.
Ontheonehand,ithelpstosecuremorefundingandjustificationforitsownmilitarydevelopmentinspace.Ontheother,itcanmisleadtheinternationalcommunityandprovokeothercountriestoattackChina'sspacepolicy.
Notlongago,thePentagonunveiledanewDefenseSpaceStrategy,whichcallsformaintainingAmerica'smilitarysuperiorityinspaceinthefaceofRussia'sandChina'sgrowingspacecapabilities.ThiswasthefirstspacestrategysincetheU.S.createdthespaceforce.
SomeanalystssaythestrategyisafurtherreflectionofafutureinwhichtheU.S.militarywillregardspaceasamajorwararena,andnotjustasacomplementtootherbattlefields.
Besides,theU.S.stilldidn'tforgettoshiftblameonChinaandRussiaforchallengingU.S.freedominspace.Asit'sputinthedocument,thedevelopment,testing,anddeploymentofChina'sandRussia'sspacecombatabilitywillbethebiggeststrategicthreat.
Asaresult,itisnothardtofindthattheU.S.willcontinuetopursuethemilitarizationofspaceinthenameof''Chinathreat''andtheweaponizationofspace.

Inaddition,space-basedgroundattackweaponsarecapableofbeingwellconcealedandwithahighpenetrationcapability.Therefore,theweaponizationofspacewilldirectlyaffectthehomelandsecurityofthedisadvantagedinspace.
Therefore,othernationsshouldbealertedofthethreatsandprepareforaUnitedStatesthatwillpursueitsowncourseinspace,whichmayundermineinternationalstrategicstabilityandtriggerthearmsraceinspace.
